If you haven't been to Porky's in the city, then you haven't been to the world's "most shameful" bar. If you like seeing frat kids and sorority chicks, you've come to the right place. I wouldn't really call it classy but more like "it'll-do." The place was packed. The drinks were watered down, especially the "fish bowls" and were in small cups just packed with icebergs... not literally but ....
Open bar was the only way to get your money's worth, especially if you're celebrating a birthday! We had quite a few people with us. I was just going after the drinks before the Open Bar ends. The bartenders went up on the bars from time to time to pour, or should I say, shower, customers with drinks straight from the bottle. That was TIGHT! haha. The music was decent. I guess 80's music is the theme music in the venue. If you memorized your 80's sitcom theme songs, this is your place to sing it out loud.
Overall, Porky's was pretty chill. I would give it a 3* out of 5. But that night was too crazy to even write down on this blog... let alone show ALL the pictures from it hahahahaha. VisitPorky's to experience it yourself. It's located at 55 W 21 St between 5th and 6th Ave. Enjoy!
