Today was the first time I ever puppy-sat. I really enjoyed taking care of Lilo, my friend Tiffany's little 9 week old pup. She is so miniscule that if I left her alone for 2 seconds, she would have probably been lost. Lilo fits in everything small including under the sofa, the shoe basket (where my family just pile up our footwear), under the heater (which is off... it IS summer), hiding behind picture frames, and our flower pots. She weighs very light and could pick her up with my thumb (if my thumb had a thumb). I can't wait to see you again Lilo, I hope you enjoyed your stay!

Sputnik!

It's Sputnik's first time being in the city! Oh MAN it was so exciting. He was definitely overwhelmed by the abundance of pedestrians. His mind was thinking.. "hmmm who should i chase?!?!!" haha

Having no luck meeting your significant other? I can help you out by renting Sputnik for $50 per hour. This guy can get it all... gals, guys, moms, dads, kids (not a pedophiliac way), you name it and for sure he will grab their attention. He's like an Everybody Magnet. Surely, a conversation starter. Let's put it this way... if I took pictures of everybody that greeted him, I would have gone through 4 Kodak one-time-use cameras... the ones you go to CVS or ShopRite to get it developed. Yeah... it was like THAT!

BTW, we hired this guy... or should I say, my sister forced her friend to tag along so he can be our paparazzi. He didn't mind and we didn't either. His camera is bananas. You would say it too after seeing these pics.

No Balls

SPUTNIK GOT NEUTERED... WAAAAHHH =*[ ... I was feeling so bad for him. I brought him to People for Animals to get the job done. He was so ecstatic going there and seeing all these other dogs. He didn't know what was about to happen =[

The whole thing started on Saturday, when my mom and I visited the clinic to get Sputnik checked out and scheduled for the neutering. It literally took 4 hours of sitting down and waiting. It was fine though since I got to chit chat with a couple people talking about dog-this and dog-that.

I was scheduled for 8:30am this Monday because it was the only free time I had. I brought him in, dropped him off, and bounced back home, and waited until 5:30pm. Can I tell you that it was the longest, loneliest, quietest, this house has ever been ever since I got Sputnik?... because it was. I love my damn dog and I missed him to death in between those 9 or so hours.

It was about that time. My dad and I went back to pick him up. I waited in line, paid for pain killers, and got SPUTNIK BACK!! I walked him out as he's still drugged up from the anesthesia. This is how it turned out...

If you have a dog or a cat that needs to be neutered or spayed, take them up to People for Animals at Hillside NJ. It's very cheap.

For Sputnik's ears to get erect. It took 9 weeks for his left ear to stand. I remember when both ear flaps were just hanging loose. He's looking like the French Bulldog that he's supposed to be. EXCITED!

Meet my new puppy! It's funny how this French Bulldog's country of origin is England and his parents were bred in Russia. Hence, Sputnik! If you have no clue why "Sputnik," then I suggest you google it. It won't hurt to add some knowledge. I adopted Sputnik when he was 8 weeks old from a neighbor. He's pretty smart and already uses the wee-wee pads to do his business. The pooping part is half way there. He already climbs up my stairs and goes to my room when he feels lonely at night. I friggin' lawve him! And you do too!
