Good News

So how about we reminisce about the past couple days. It's been fun, i guess. Nothing too interesting. Well, maybe if i had gone to the city to eat with a few of my boys. Unfortunately, i had to stay home and accompany Rebecca. So we watched Across the Universe. I sort of fell asleep through it.

My mom's car got broken into and her car's cd player was stolen as she was working in the hospital. People are pathetic. Who goes to a hospital's garage to break into peoples' cars? Unbelievable.

The tropics won their 3rd hockey game on last night. Score was 7-2. I shot 2 of the goals and i am also averaging 2 points a game. CRAAAZZY!

By the way...my boy S. Bap finally got his bike. 2002 honda cbr. one word...NICE!

Now all he needs is the yellow and black AJ I's to match hahaha.

Yo, look at this. Take a guess what it is. It's not Togi underneath the blanket if that's what you're thinking. Ok, i lied...it is =D. NO IT'S NOT ANIMAL CRUELTY. That dog started it. Scratched my arms with his talons. Jake you need to trim them! FOR REAL! But enough talk...let's laugh!

So it was Tony's last Friday night shift with me and Hacker at Floyd Hall Arena yesterday.  I'm not even going to lie but i'm going to miss the kid. He's working at a private airport. No more Floyd for him...can we spell F-R-E-E-D-O-M?

CHECK IT PAIZAIN! Tony's Hot Dog Stand had it's Grand Opening today and guess what? it was pretty good. It's no Papayas but it's something. They charge something like $1.50??? but with all the works like saurkraut, potato, chilli, cheese, etc. gets to $2.00. Definitely peep that place out. I had about 4 hot dogs with all the works. yummmm.

By the way, I had a hockey game last night. I would have taken some pictures but i was too busy scoring 3 goals and giving an assist. MY FIRST HAT TRICK!! awwww...If you don't know what a hat trick is, do your homework and wikipedia that. It was crazy in the first period when we were down 4-1.  But the Tropics, which was the team i'm on with my boy Hacker, owned that ice and won it 9-5. sweeeeeeeeeeeeet. It was about time i got a hat trick.

Skates.

So for those of you who ever wondered how ice skates were sharpened, here's a little sum'n sum'n. I'm not getting into detail detail because it would take forever to type it. This whole skate sharpening is such a time consuming process. As in 1 pair could take 5-10 minutes and as part of my job, we have to sharpen at least 6 on our shifts........pshh yeah right.

You're going to need one of these ^^^. That's the sharpening machine. Adjust it to it's proper position and sharpness and you're ready to sharpen.
Let the sparks fly on this bad boy. Hockey skates and figure skates have different ways of sharpening. I rather sharpen hockey skates.
Then you use that tool up there...i forgot what it's called. That helps maintain the blade's sharpness too...somehow.
....and TADA! It's finished. Feel free to shank somebody or sever any fingers on your way. I'm kidding, of course.

Taking it to the grave.

So after yesterday's disappointing defeat over the highly topped ranked Phase1 team, Classick had a practice at Clark's. I think the loss was the only thing to keep this team going harder for the next game. Today was pretty much the first practice the team ever had together excluding 2 other players  (who's going to get their ass kicked when we see them). It was definitely a work out considering that we played with 3 OG's, our Ph D. coach, and of course, Mr. Spartan himself, Jake's father. Holla.

Ok, so i joined an Asian Recreational basketball league thinking it was going to be easy and all fun and games. Apparently, it was definitely the opposite. Our first game was yesterday 4.12.08 and we got BLOWN OUT...big time. We played Phase1 which is a top ranked team. It was pretty bad since it was this team's first ever game in the league. Anyway...here are a couple pics from the game. Didn't really take much because i was pissed.
