YAWTT

The Young and Wild Things Tour was what I've been looking forward to for months! It was a tour with Cute is What We Aim For, Plain White T's, Gym Class Heroes, and Fall Out Boy.
It started at 7pm at MSG located on 7th Ave at 32nd St. I purchased the tickets months before and still couldn't get better seats. We're all the way in the back Section 230 Row C. But I didn't care... I came to listen!

WHAT AN EFFING NIGHT! Even though Fall Out Boy sang the acoustic version of the song I wanted to rock to, it was still extremely impressive.

terror behind the walls

Basically, Terror Behind The Walls was rated one of the most scariest Haunted Houses in Philly. We thought it would be fun to get the living crap scared out of us. Of course we go the day it rains. Didn't matter. Nothing was going to stop our obsession for the haunting. We went with a pretty big crew. Maybe about 3-4 cars deep.
The tour itself cost us $35 each and The Quick Pass was an extra $5. I think it should cost half the price considering that it wasn't as scary as they hyped it to be. It was about a 5 minute walk. Everybody thought that we get to tour the entire penitentiary. We thought wrong. Once you reach the end, you pass by booths and vendors. A picture and keychain was being sold for $20. The lady accidentally dropped it on the ground and in an instant, I bargained with her. I told her "yo! let me get it with a discount since you dropped it and it's a little wet"... that's not verbatim but you get my point. The lady did the right thing and sold it for $10 haha it was worth it.
my discounted picture =)

After the Haunted House, we went to see the Rocky statue to see what it's all about. We even raced up those damn steps that Rocky did in the movie. Let me tell you, it's not too fun.

soled out

Soled Out III is back in NYC. It's their 3rd time around. This event is the place to go if you are a sneaker aficionado. There are many vendors selling shoes, merchandise, limited toys, clothing, etc. You can even bring your own collection to sell if you need the extra money. Also, if you just LOVE getting jealous, you can visit this event to see a display of some of the most limited and exclusive footwear and gear in the tri-state area... it'll make your head spin.
The event started at 12 and ends at 7. We left about an hour once we got there. Don't believe the hype! It wasn't what we expected at all. Anyway... Soled Out is held in SoHo at 210 Elizabeth St. between Price and Spring St. It's a "dress to impress" kind of deal with a $10 charge at the door. WOMP! There's a live performance and sneaker raffle that we didn't intend to stay for either.
Me and Andrea were just waiting for Moji and Charlene to get ready. In the meantime, we played GH2 at my house.

short story: after we ran out of that really depressing place, we got hungry and stopped at Rice to Riches to get some desserts. You might have heard of the place from the movie Hitch. If not, then google it haha

short story: Andrea wanted to go to an art gallery that was in Pearl St. It was a huge mistake considering that the Pearl St. we wanted to go to was in Brooklyn... we're in Manhattan. :|

Andrea's excited for no reason
Soooo after all that walking to look for the WRONG street, we all got hungry again. We stopped at China Town's Hop Kee.

Andrea was too scared to try the duck.
She's such a girl.
tearing it up!
We got home around 11:30pm. It was a very long day. We scared Andrea thinking that we took the wrong train going home. She was panicking. haha sooo funny.
